Hi, I’m Eva Thomas, an Australian romance author and the founder of Bella & Willow Publishing Ink.
Welcome to my little corner of the internet.

My journey as an author is still relatively new, but the stories themselves have been with me for much longer. I’ve always had an imagination that could take a simple idea and turn it into characters, relationships and entire worlds. For years, those ideas stayed inside my head, waiting for the right moment to be written down.

My debut novel, Second Chance Kick Off, was the story that finally changed everything.

I began writing Second Chance Kick Off at the beginning of 2025, but Jaden and Cameron's story didn't actually begin then. Their story first came to me around fifteen years ago. I carried pieces of it with me for years, but I was too scared to sit down and actually tell their story.

Then life happened.

During some difficult periods in my life, writing became more than something I enjoyed. It became an outlet. It gave me somewhere to put the emotions, thoughts and experiences that were sometimes difficult to process. Creating characters and giving them their own stories allowed me to escape into another world while also finding a way to work through parts of my own.

Eventually, I realised that Jaden and Cameron's story wasn't going away.

So I finally decided to tell it.

That decision led to Second Chance Kick Off, my debut novel and the beginning of the Bound by the Game Series. Seeing a story that had lived in my mind for fifteen years finally become a real book was something I never imagined would happen.

And it was only the beginning.

Today, I write contemporary romance across several different worlds, from the football fields of Bound by the Game, to the small-town Western setting of Oak-field Springs, and the close-knit coastal community of Harbour Point.

My current series includes:

Bound by the Game

My debut series, beginning with Second Chance Kick Off.
This series combines romance, sport, complicated relationships, family, friendship and characters who have their own battles to fight both on and off the field.

Oak-field Springs Series

Beginning with Wild Hearts of Texas, the Oak-field Springs Series takes readers into small-town Texas, where romance, family, secrets and the close-knit nature of a small community come together.

Harbour Point Series

Beginning with Captured by You, Harbour Point is a fictional Australian coastal town filled with small-town romance, family connections, friendships and characters whose lives become intertwined in unexpected ways.

I love writing characters who feel like real people — characters with flaws, fears, complicated histories and plenty of heart. I want my readers to become invested in their relationships, laugh with them, hurt with them and sometimes yell at them when they make questionable decisions.

Because, let's be honest, fictional characters can make some seriously questionable decisions. 😂

Writing romance allows me to explore relationships in all their messy, emotional and beautiful forms. I love the tension between two people who shouldn't work but somehow do, the friendships that become family, the moments when characters have to face their past, and the courage it takes to choose love even when life doesn't make it easy.

Outside of writing, I’m also building Bella & Willow Publishing Ink, my publishing imprint. Creating my own publishing journey has been both exciting and overwhelming, but I'm learning as I go and discovering just how much there is to love about being an author.

This website is part of that journey.
It is a place where I can share my books, introduce you to my characters and series, announce upcoming releases and events, and hopefully give readers a little glimpse into the worlds I'm creating.

I’m still at the beginning of my author journey, and I have plenty more stories waiting to be told.

Some are already being written.

Some are still ideas sitting in notebooks or inside my head.

And some haven't even found their characters yet.

But I'm excited to find them.
